《岭南现代临床外科》杂志系由广东省卫生厅主管、广东省医学学术交流中心主办、中山大学孙逸仙纪念医院承办的专业期刊，国际标准刊号：ISSN 1009-976X，国内统一刊号：CN 44-1510/R。杂志创刊于1995年，面向全国公开发行出版，现为中国核心期刊（遴选）数据库和中国学术期刊综合评价数据库统计源收录，是一本集权威性、科学性、创新性、实用性和收藏性为一体的学术刊物。杂志以普通外科为主，涵盖骨外科、心胸外科、泌尿外科、神经外科、血管甲状腺外科、乳腺外科、整形外科、小儿外科和外科急危重病救治等广泛学术领域，以从事外科领域临床、科研、教学工作的各级医师和科研人员为读者对象。现设栏目：述评、专家笔谈、论著、短篇论著、临床研究、综述、新技术、新进展、病例报告、术式讨论、学术争鸣、经验交流等。本刊办刊宗旨：全面系统地反映我国外科专业的学术动态，及时报道外科临床及科研新理论、新技术、新进展，努力促进我国临床外科的学科发展和学术交流。
